Facticity is in the gap between what what life has unfolded because of the way the world sees you and what has happened because of the way that you have seen yourself. The two are inextricably muddled. You retain the power to over-ride the world but the world retains the power to penetrate what it is you see as yourself. All of this because you cling to the idea that you are some thing.
