What is the opposite of Being? It is not non-being, but rather that there is no entitlement of thought to Being. This seems to be pretty much the case in regard to most of what passes for thinking for which being is simply irrelevant, and which forms in the mass a very dismal prospect. Apart from that there is mostly unentitled thinking, thinking that makes free of being without once having faced up to the question, stolen being or counterfeit being. So, is there any such entitlement? The answer if affirmative can only be historical, certain rare moments illuminating the mostly dark and shadowy mazes of human desire. If reincarnation were true and human life in each instance were somehow chosen, it would be evidence for bad taste of truly cosmic proportions, although perhaps only a gnostic would recognise this.
