At every level of being and of imitation of being, and there are very many of them, the same basic situation obtains. In each case it is fueled by a kind of innocence, which is of all attributes the most perishable. Only at the deeper levels is innocence more robust, until at the deepest level, and this is how you know it, it is eternal, is of the nature of being itself.
