Will and its intrinsic limitation or will and anti-will give rise to feeling and hence to a distinction of inside and outside, to everything that goes into consciousness except for individuation, that mysterious x-factor which could only do what it does if it is yet more original than will - it is, for all first philosophy, the true deus ex machina.
