The rich consistency and inevitability of local minima, their history and acknowledgments can make them seem more real than the local maxima with their febrile and quixotic entitlements, but both are entirely contingent invitations to act. They neither speak of you as you really are nor of someone in general. They are simply options which can be taken up or let go of at will by an experiencing without needs of its own.
