The self projects the assumption of completely pervading its own conditions of possibility, in other words of authoring itself, as a necessary and future attainment. As long as traces of this idea can be detected in the self's reflection then it is lost in a fantasy. Whatever you are you are not your own creation, and this is not a deficiency that can be corrected by meddling in the future. You are here according to conditions are never your own.
