You are not an instance of consciousness but consciousness itself, which realises itself in collective mind, which again realises itself through this strange friction of the individual. And if species mind is ever restless and at war with itself and in love with itself (they are the same thing) the tension between the individual whose every thought and action and fierce will are from the species and itself comprises every possibility of limit-breaching.
