Thinking, feeling, willing, perceiving, these are not things you are doing but ways of directing attention to the ongoing act of being. They are verbal nouns or gerunds to least betray the open temporality of becoming. And as nominatives they are incompatible registrations, reductions to an intelligibility of a nameless and situated readiness. What you are moment to moment is a respondent, or (cor)respondant, within the evolving situations, and as responses are fluid so you emerge in virtuality as an adaptive pivot or reference point or dynamic capacity defining and defined by the ever changing situation. The state bears no intrinsic separation of conscious from unconscious, of future and past, those divisions are brought about by the momentary crystallisations of perspectives. But how in this to explain the heat of emotional responses?
