You cannot account for the conceptual world, the world of meanings, purely out of the sensory world which, properly speaking, eased to exists for you when you came into language. And yet you straddle the two worlds. Even the line of demarcation between them is as elusive as that between sleeping and waking. All are contained indifferently in consciousness, enacting and rescinding distinctions.
