Every notion of truth implies a witnessing, even the 'view from nowhere' admits this as it strives to deny it. Does consciousness witness itself? Or does it draw its witnessing from another source, of which it is merely a kind of inflection? What are the limits of all possible witnessings? We imagine the witnessing of no witness, an entire universe that 'never' awakens, but this too is nothing but a thought, silently witnessed, a
petitio principi, a nothing that is.
