The core of the 'I' is empty not because of emptiness as principle but because its truth is elsewhere and appears in its world as a certainty that is elusively either at the origin or at the terminus of active consciousness. If y u were to know it it would be as 'what you are' not as this particular quality but as all qualities outside of time. The separation into either this or that only arises with the belief in time, in the momentariness of lived experience.
