All metaphysical positions are ultimately interchangeable and can be mapped into each other by way of a suitably deep translation. You could say that they are equally stymied by the 'why?' question, or you could point to the impossibility of thinking the outside of metaphysics from a starting point inside, even though metaphysics itself can be defined as a doctrine which models its own outside.
