Acting beautifully is not enough to determine the ethical value of an act, aesthetics being amoral, but the aesthetic view of an action is a truer guide to the hidden maxim that generates it, and hence to its ethical meaning than any measure of conformity to an ideal scheme based on objectification of acts in general and their inferred consequences.
