The only knowledge that you are truly entitled to have is knowledge of who, what, why you are, and this is also the knowledge that you cannot have given that all you know of knowing is that it is of objects, of what is not the knower. Further, you cannot desire that authentic knowledge because such desire or curiosity is based upon wat is already known or conceived, desire is assembled out of already-give or even strongly imposed, parts. And yet this (absent) knowledge of self is the standard against which all other knowledges are compared and fall short. This standard imposes itself apodictically, and so much so that it can be mistaken for the missing knowledge itself. 'I think therefore I don't know' is the cogito turned right side up.
