Any kind of self-awareness, or awareness of self, or awareness of awareness is a construct, guided by thought, out of being here in the midst of things, while this latter is in no way objective awareness, or awareness of things, except in a similar kind of mental construct. Self and other is only a particular way of making a cut in experience, a particularly fecund and well-supported cut no doubt, but by no means the only possible one, and is not made without committing to powerful exclusions.
