What difference does it make to think of your nature as created, as it is in the monotheisms with a creator God or in the so-called simulation hypothesis, or else as something like an emanation or reduction via an original ignorance of infinite being and consciousness, or even perhaps an emergence, if that makes any sense without massive question-begging? In the first and last of these our finiteness, and corresponding thrownness are central, and difficult to think through since reflection such lacks a proper ground. Instead the infinite is smuggled into thought in subtle ways.
