This idea is so wonderful when it first arises that you can spend a lifetime unfolding its extraordinary sequels without noticing that it is groundless, a sort of strange loop in infinite emptiness and that as it returns and returns again it is always only a fleeting mental and physical object that stands in for, representing at second hand, the timeless and spaceless principle non event, the ever welcoming and unchanging host.
