There is a fundamental distinction that only consciousness can make. One it has made that distinction a general field becomes a field of actions and consciousness can withdraw until needed again. Is that distinction an act? Does it take place or take time? No, it is not an instance of consciousness as we know it or claim it. It is the ancestral consciousness, the grandfather of 'your' consciousness and not bound by life or death.
