If the answer to your question is a more or less elaborate or elegant explication of states of affairs and their relations, the sort of answer you might get in science, then either you haven't yet asked the question or the answer is no answer at all. This is because such an answer merely shifts the counters around, reinforcing the idea of the question and the one asking rather than resolving it. The only satisfactory answer is a direct seeing in which the questioner necessarily disappears. How does this apply when it is someone else asking the question? Ah, that is the question!
